1. Who operates Doodle
Doodle is operated by Dustin Turner personally. Spotter Dev is used as a project, workspace, or brand name for this work and is not a separate legal entity, LLC, corporation, nonprofit, school, agency, placement organization, or tax-exempt organization unless a formal entity is created later and the website is updated.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing Doodle, creating an account, signing in, submitting information, completing an intake form, saving a lead, updating a tracker status, using a template, using resume-helper guidance, or using automated or AI-assisted features, you agree to these draft Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Doodle.
3. Eligibility and children under 13
Doodle is intended for adults and postsecondary students in the United States. It is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may not create accounts, submit forms, save information, contact Doodle through the website, or provide personal information through Doodle.
4. What Doodle is
Doodle is a U.S.-focused educational and workflow-support tool for organizing practicum, internship, field placement, and supervised training searches. It can help users complete intake forms, view demo results, save candidate leads, update tracker statuses, organize outreach steps, and use templates or resume-helper guidance.
5. What Doodle is not
Doodle is not a verified placement database, placement service, practicum placement office, employment service, employment agency, recruiter, staffing service, school, university, agency, employer, supervisor, licensing-board resource, professional board resource, clinical supervisor, healthcare provider, therapy service, crisis service, law firm, lawyer, consumer reporting agency, background-check company, financial adviser, tax adviser, or government resource.
6. Independent verification is required
Users are responsible for independently verifying all information with official sources before contacting, applying to, relying on, or making decisions involving any school, program, agency, employer, supervisor, practicum site, internship site, field placement site, training site, licensing board, professional board, state authority, or third party.
7. Emergency and crisis boundary
Doodle is not for emergencies, crisis support, therapy, clinical decisions, diagnosis, treatment, danger assessment, self-harm risk, harm-to-others risk, abuse reporting, mandatory reporting, or emergency planning. If someone may be in danger, call 911 or contact 988 in the United States.
8. Account rules
Users are responsible for their accounts and all activity under their accounts. Use accurate information, keep login credentials secure, do not share accounts, do not impersonate anyone, and do not enter passwords for school portals, email, agency systems, clinical systems, financial accounts, or other third-party services into Doodle.
9. Sensitive information is prohibited
Do not enter, submit, paste, save, or upload Social Security numbers, passwords, medical records, protected health information, therapy notes, client or patient information, confidential school documents, disability records, disciplinary records, background-check documents, payment card information, financial account information, government IDs, immigration documents, emergency information, or other highly sensitive information.
10. Intake, saved leads, and tracker limits
Intake forms, saved leads, and tracker statuses are personal organization tools. Saving a lead or moving a tracker card does not create an application, interview, offer, approval, placement, affiliation, relationship, agency response, school approval, supervisor approval, licensure eligibility, employment status, or confirmed opportunity.
11. Candidate leads and third-party information
Candidate leads, organization names, links, contact details, and evidence notes may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unavailable, duplicated, misclassified, unsafe, inappropriate, or unaffiliated with Doodle. Doodle does not verify that any organization is accepting students, approved, licensed, accredited, insured, safe, legitimate, or suitable for any user.
12. Templates and resume-helper limits
Templates, outreach scripts, resume-helper materials, checklists, examples, and suggested wording are general drafting aids only. Users are responsible for ensuring every resume, application, email, message, form, and statement is truthful, accurate, complete, current, professional, and appropriate for the recipient.
13. Automated or AI-assisted guidance
Automated or AI-assisted features are general educational and workflow-support tools only. Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, fabricated, biased, irrelevant, or unsuitable. Users must review, edit, fact-check, and verify all AI-assisted content before using it. If users send, submit, or reuse edited Doodle-assisted content, they are responsible for that final content.
14. User content and limited license
Users retain responsibility for information they submit. By entering information into Doodle, users give Doodle a limited permission to use that information to operate, provide, maintain, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve Doodle, subject to the Privacy Policy.
15. Prohibited uses
Do not use Doodle for unlawful activity, scraping, spam, harassment, impersonation, credential misuse, misleading outreach, collecting sensitive information about others, interfering with the service, reverse engineering, security testing without permission, or any use that could harm users, schools, agencies, supervisors, or third parties.
16. Doodle intellectual property and feedback
Doodle's original text, organization, designs, templates, tools, workflows, code, graphics, documentation, and brand materials are owned by Dustin Turner or used with permission unless otherwise stated. Feedback may be used to improve Doodle without creating compensation or ownership rights for the person providing it.
17. Third-party names, marks, links, and services
References to schools, agencies, employers, brands, boards, websites, platforms, or other third parties are for user research and organization only. They do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, approval, partnership, verification, or recommendation.
18. No official school, agency, HIPAA, or FERPA role
Doodle is not a school official, school-approved education-record system, healthcare provider, covered healthcare tool, business associate, official agency system, or professional-board system. Users should not submit confidential education records, protected health information, or client/patient information.
19. No donations, ads, sponsors, payments, or marketing emails currently
The current build does not include donations, ads, sponsored content, affiliate links, payments, newsletter signup, contact forms, or site-sent outreach emails. If ads, donations, payments, analytics, or public email tools are added later, legal/privacy notices will be updated before activation.
20. Privacy
Use of Doodle is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains categories of information Doodle may collect, how it may be used, service providers such as Vercel and Supabase, and user privacy choices.
21. Availability, changes, and data retention
Doodle may change, pause, or discontinue features and may be unavailable during testing, maintenance, or development. Data retention, deletion, export, and backup practices should be reviewed before broader launch and may vary by feature and operational need.
22. Suspension or termination
Doodle may suspend or terminate access when needed to protect users, the service, third parties, security, legal obligations, or these Terms. Users remain responsible for decisions and actions taken before or after access changes.
23. Copyright, trademark, and rights concerns
If you believe Doodle content infringes rights, uses a mark incorrectly, or creates confusion, dedicated legal and support contact addresses should be added before broader public launch so concerns can be reviewed.
24. Disclaimers and no guarantees
Doodle is provided as draft public-preview software and workflow support. Doodle does not guarantee placement, interviews, school approval, agency approval, supervisor approval, licensure approval, clinical hours, academic credit, employment, income, credentials, data accuracy, availability, or any specific outcome.
25. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law and subject to attorney review, Doodle and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or other damages arising from use of Doodle, third-party information, user decisions, unavailable features, data loss, or reliance on content.
26. Indemnification
Subject to attorney review, users agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from their misuse of Doodle, unlawful conduct, submitted content, misleading outreach, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.
27. Informal dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, users should try to resolve concerns informally by contacting Doodle through the contact process added before broader launch. Doodle should also add a reviewed process for receiving legal, privacy, accessibility, security, copyright, and trademark notices.
28. Governing law and venue
Governing law and venue require attorney review and are not final in this draft. No state, county, arbitration clause, or class-action waiver is adopted by this public draft.
29. Updates and contacts
Doodle may update these Terms as the product changes. Doodle's verified public domain is doodleit.org. www.doodleit.org redirects to doodleit.org. Dedicated legal, privacy, accessibility, security, and support contact addresses are not live yet and should be added before broader public launch.
30. No decision-making authority
Doodle does not make, control, approve, deny, or influence admissions, practicum, internship, field placement, supervision, hiring, employment, academic-credit, clinical-hour, licensure, credentialing, eligibility, interview, selection, or approval decisions. Users must work with the relevant school, program, agency, employer, supervisor, licensing body, or official decision-maker.
31. No consumer reporting or eligibility use
Doodle is not a consumer reporting agency and Doodle content must not be used as a consumer report or as a basis for employment, credit, insurance, housing, government-benefit, licensure, school-admission, school-approval, practicum-approval, clinical-supervision, field-placement, internship-placement, or similar eligibility decisions.
32. Labels, badges, scores, and statuses
Labels, badges, filters, scores, rankings, summaries, AI-assisted outputs, demo results, saved leads, and tracker statuses are not verification, approval, endorsement, safety determinations, suitability decisions, school approvals, agency approvals, supervisor approvals, or official determinations.
33. Scam and unsafe outreach warning
Users should be cautious with any person or organization requesting money, checks, gift cards, cryptocurrency, reshipping, bank information, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, government IDs, passwords, verification codes, confidential documents, unofficial channels, secrecy, or urgent pressure. Verify independently through official channels before taking action.
34. Not permanent storage or backup
Doodle is not a permanent storage system or backup service. Users should keep independent copies of important records, contacts, school requirements, applications, confirmations, and outreach materials outside Doodle.
35. Contact routing status
Public contact email routes and aliases are the next setup phase. Contact forms and email sending are not enabled. No public contact email address is live in this build.
